Project Worker (Fixed Term Contract - 6 Months)
The Project Worker will work closely with the National Co-ordinator and the Management Committee to assist with research and project development.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Minimum two years experience of working in Projects that address poverty, social exclusion and inequality for people with disabilities through a Community Development approach.
- Minimum two years experience liaising with community, voluntary and statutory agencies.
- Advanced computer skills – Macromedia Contribute, Word, Excel, Power Point and Database
- Solid experience of developing and delivering research projects
- Advanced Facilitation and Presentation Skills
- Access to Transport
- A relevant third level qualification and working knowledge of the Irish language would be desirable.
- Must be able to work on own initiative and be flexible to do some evening work.
Hours: 35 per week & Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications and not less that €30,000 pa
