About IASE ( Irish Association of Supported Employment)
IASE is a national voluntary organisation which was established in February 1994 with the aim of promoting and developing supported employment at a national level.
IASE is the representative voice of almost 900 members in Ireland.
The organisation is currently funded by the Department of Environment, Community and Local Govenment under the white paper for voluntary services
Aim of the IASE
To promote equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities
Mission statement of the Irish Association of Supported Employment
Employers:
To provide information to encourage the employment of people with disabilities.
People with Disabilities:
To advise, advocate and guide people with disabilities to the relevant supports available.
Policy Makers:
To influence policy and its implementation regarding employment opportunities for people with disabilities..
Public Awareness:
To educate, inform, and create awareness about the positive aspects of employing people with disabilities.
Professional Development:
To provide education, information, and training on employment to professionals working with people with disabilities
What IASE Do ?
- IASE Organise structured opportunities for our members to learn from through conferences, workshops and seminars.
- Provide members with a support service through regional networks throughout Ireland.
- Lobby policy makers and decision makers on common critical issues.
- Promote Supported Employment through a regular newsletter, website and other publications.
