Take part in Job Shadow Day

Job Shadow Day is an annual national day when people with disabilities shadow an employee as they go about their normal working routine.

Every year hundreds of employers and people with disabilities from across Ireland take part.

It is easy to join and express your support and commitment for equal employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Membership is open to all employers, of all sizes, across all sectors.

Work experience or placement

Why not offer a jobseeker with a disability a works experience opportunity or placement?

A short-term placement like this could help a jobseeker get a job in the future.

You could also help by giving a jobseeker some support and training to develop their interview skills.

Get to know your local service

Even if you are not recruiting right now, you can get to know your local supported employment service.
You may be able to works with them in the future
