IASE is pleased to announce their partnership with project ABLE, where it will be sharing it’s unique expertise in helping people with a disability in overcoming barriers to the world of work, to help enhance the recruitment potential for people with an autism spectrum condition across Europe.
To this end the IASE has commenced by distributing an attitudinal survey to Irish employers, created publicity materials and has launched the project ABLE website, which can be viewed here

The seventh annual National Supported Employment Week, takes place from 7th – 13th April 2014. Job Shadow Day (Wednesday 9th April) is the high point of the week and will see over 600 hundred job seekers with disabilities take the opportunity to shadow a workplace mentor as he or she goes about a normal working day.National Supported Employment Week is a week-long campaign where businesses throughout the country works with local supported employment agencies and disability services to promote and support equal employment opportunities, the campaign will place significant emphasis on the positive contribution individuals with a disability can and do make to the workplace in Ireland.
