Caroline Ball and Minister Michael Ring launch ‘Open 50′ project

Caroline Ball from Louisburgh in Mayo was joined by Minister Michael Ring at O’Cee’s Coffee Shop in Westport, to officially launch the ‘Open 50′ project on Monday.  Open 50 aims to see over 50 businesses throughout Ireland commit to employing a person with a disability by April 2015, as part of the Open Door initiative. Following a very successful works placement at O’Cee’s in August 2013, Caroline was offered part-time employment at the busy coffee shop and has since been an integral member of their team.
