The 21st Annual General Meeting of the Irish Association of Supported Employment will be held at The Ashling Hotel, Park Gate Street, Dublin 2 on Thursday September 24th at 2:30pm.

The business of the AGM will cover Chairpersons report, financial report, progress report and the election of 2015/6 Committee.
All AGM documents can be accessed in advance from the IASE website. To facilitate the selection of 12 members to the IASE National Executive committee, a nomination form and profile sheet is available for members interested in going forward for election. Forms can be downloaded on the IASE website or are available by email on request from email@example.com or by post if you contact the office.

Senator Mary Moran
Senator Moran has made a significant impact in the Seanad as the Labour Seanad Spokesperson for Education, Disability, Mental Health and Equality. Senator Moran is an active member of the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Education and Social Protection and is a keen advocate for the importance of equality in education at every level, she has a particular focus in the area of Special Education. Over the years Senator Moran has worked with many different groups, individuals and organisations on across a range of issues in the area of disability, equality and mental health.
Adam Harris is Founder and CEO of AsIAm, Ireland’s one-stop-shop of information for those living with Autism, their loved ones and professional supporters. AsIAm works to change the public perception of Autism and to empower those in the Autism community to achieve their own personal potential and to gain positive outcomes for the entire community.
Peter is employed as Assistant Manager of Adult Services at KARE, Co Kildare and represented Ireland on the Next Step project steering committee, a European partnership that aimed of Identify how the 5-stage process of supported employment, as developed by EUSE, has been working after it has been implemented in various local, regional and national settings. Peter will present on the works of the project and its findings.
Nomination Forms to the IASE National Executive
It is a requirement that all members going forward for election to the National Executive Committee must agree with the aims and objectives of the organisation and to become a Director of the Company. Directors have responsibility for the governance of IASE Ltd. in accordance with the Companies Act and the Charities Regulatory Authority. Elected members will be required to participate in meetings of the executive, sub-committees and regional branches throughout the year.
All paid members are eligible to go forward for election; the closing date for receipt of completed nomination forms and profile sheets is Thursday September 18th 2015 at 5:00pm.
